Unfortunately, some of us suffer from a type of depression, but they don’t know that, then their case gets worse physically, mentally and psychologically.

This issue is so important in our daily life, so I will show the types of depression in this post in simple information and in the next posts, I will show the symptoms and treatment of the depression in order not to write so long posts because I appreciate that everyone has many tasks every day to do.

TYPES OF DEPRSSEION  

  1. MILD DEPRESSION:

Generally, the patients of mild depression will experience a persistent low mood and spirit. They may find it difficult to motivate themselves to do things they normally enjoy.

  • 2- MAJOR(CLINICAL) DEPRESSION:

It is more severe form that can lead to hospital admission. The symptoms can affect eating, habits, sleeping and other day-to-day activities. Some patients may feel suicidal and that life is no longer worth living.

  • 3- BIPOLAR DISORDER:

A form of manic depression characterised by extreme highs and lows.

  • 4- POSTNATAL DEPRESSION:

A condition that can develop in men and women after childbirth.

  • 5- SEASONAL AFFECTIVE DISORDER:

It is closely related to the length of days. It typically occurs in the Autumn and Winter months when the days are shorter.
