WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF GRIEF IN MENTAL HEALTH?
- Normal Grief
This is a normal reaction to losing a loved one.
The bereaved may show symptoms such as sadness, poor appetite, insomnia and so
on. The duration of “normal” depression

Complicated bereavement or grief can include the
absence of grief, conflicted grief, chronic mourning and so on.

This occurs when we know someone is about to die, so we begin to prepare psychologically and emotionally.

This can occur after an unexpected death, where the
person needs time to grasp the events that have happened.
